Tan Sri Dr. Fong Chan Onn (Chinese: 冯镇安; pinyin: Féng Zhèn'ān, born 1944) is a Malaysian politician and a former Minister of Human Resources. He is a former vice-president of the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA), a component party of the ruling Barisan Nasional coalition. He is currently a Member of Parliament for Alor Gajah.

Dr. Fong received his bachelor degree in electrical engineering from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand. He went on to receive his MBA and Ph.D in Operations Research/Industrial Economics from University of Rochester, New York.
Dr. Fong began his career in the civil service as an engineer at the Kuala Lumpur Telecommunications Department. He later joined the Faculty of Economics and Administration at the University of Malaya, rising to become Dean in 1990.
Dr. Fong has been the Member of Parliament for Alor Gajah, Melaka since 1999.[1] He became an MCA vice-president in 1996, but stepped down after the 2008 MCA elections when he lost his bid for reelection.[2]
From 1990 to 1999, he served as Deputy Minister of Education. Following the 1999 general elections, Dr Fong was appointed Minister of Human Resources.
Currently, Dr. Fong renders his expertise as the Chairman of Enterprise Asia, a non-governmental organization that is set up to champion entrepreneurship development in Asia.[3]
Dr. Fong was awarded the Darjah Gemilang Seri Melaka (DGSM) which carries the title "Datuk Seri" in conjunction with the 67th birthday of Melaka Yang Di-pertua Negeri Tun Mohd Khalil Yaakob.
Dr. Fong was then awarded the Panglima Setia Mahkota (PSN) which carries the titles 'Tan Sri' from Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin in conjunction with His Majesty's birthday on 5 June 2010.[4]
